Spyware is the broader term referring to malicious programs that install themselves on a user’s PC- usually without consent or warning - and either damage the computer maliciously (Malware), produce pop up ads based on the user’s internet usage (AdWare) or both.
Spyware is usually installed through internet websites, or through downloaded software, and can hi-jack your browser, redirect you to an affiliated site, imbed itself in your Operating System (Windows) or various other tactics which can slow down performance of your computer or even end up in severe damage to your hard drive.

AVOIDING COMPUTER VIRUSES
It is in fact a horrifying moment the one when a computer user realizes that a virus has managed to penetrate his or her CPU system and destroyed years of data and hard work. In an effort to minimize the probability of having to experience such a stressful moment, most computer users have now installed in their computer’s memory, software programs that act as shields against such malicious threats.
These system defenders, generally known as antivirus software programs are designed to recognize and prevent malicious computer code from being executed without the user’s knowledge or permission.

As the Internet threats continue to increase in number and complexity, some of the best antivirus programs, like Norton and McAfee, quickly respond to the justifiable consumer need to keep their computer environment secure. New and improved features enable these enhanced versions of antivirus and antispyware programs to detect, then quarantine and finally remove malicious code, which can harm computer files and/or disrupt a variety of computer functions.
Computer viruses are software programs deliberately designed to interfere with the usual computer operations, by recording, transmitting, corrupting, or deleting data. Some of these malicious programs also have the ability to copy themselves to other computer systems and thus spread to new unaffected computer units, much alike a human virus does.

If you think that a brand new computer that you but from dell or another major company has all the good parts stock then you are wrong. A good built computer is not one that you can buy at a store a good computer is one that you can build up to the performance you want. Most people think that they won’t need more then what comes stock because it already cost a lot of money well if you are going to be playing games and things like that you will need a built computer not one that you can buy.
